What We Do
Three Services,
One Standard of Care
Each pathway is designed for a different type of need — from a straightforward calibre service to the careful stewardship of a piece with collector-level significance.

How We Approach Every Service
Assessment & Consultation
Every service begins with a hands-on assessment. We examine the watch, discuss your intentions, and provide a written description of what we find and what we propose before any work is agreed.
Considered Execution
Work proceeds on an agreed scope, with calibre-matched materials and appropriate tools. If anything unexpected emerges during work, we pause and communicate before continuing.
Verification & Return
Movement work is verified on a calibrated timegrapher over several days before return. Collector pieces are accompanied by a written condition dossier. The watch is returned only when the work meets our standard.
Service One
Movement Service & Timing Restoration
A considered overhaul for mechanical and automatic calibres where the heart of the watch is gently restored to its intended performance. The service begins with a thorough assessment of the movement's current state, followed by careful disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all components, inspection under magnification for wear patterns, replacement of mainsprings or worn parts where appropriate, and precise relubrication using horological-grade oils. Reassembly is followed by regulation across multiple positions and a multi-day timing test on professional equipment.
- Full disassembly and ultrasonic component cleaning
- Worn parts replaced with calibre-appropriate components
- Regulation across six positions
- Multi-day timing test with written results
- Written condition report provided on return
Service Two
Case & Bracelet Refinishing
A measured approach to restoring the external character of a watch while respecting its original lines and design intent. The work covers careful disassembly of the case and bracelet, hand-finishing of brushed and polished surfaces using techniques matched to the manufacturer's original treatment, removal of light scratches and surface marks, and reassembly with attention to gasket condition. For sport models with mixed finishes, brushed and polished zones are treated separately to preserve the geometry of the case.
- Hand-finishing matched to original surface treatment
- Patina conservation available for vintage pieces on request
- Mixed-finish sport models treated zone by zone
- Gasket inspection and replacement at reassembly
- Basic water resistance check included
Service Three
Vintage & Collector Piece Stewardship
A specialised pathway for older references, discontinued calibres, and pieces of significant collector interest. The approach prioritises originality — sourcing period-correct parts where required, conserving original dials and hands rather than refinishing them, and documenting each step of the work with photographs and written notes. Suited for collectors of mid-century manual-wind chronographs, early automatic calibres, and pieces where authenticity directly affects long-term value.
- Detailed consultation before any work is proposed
- Period-correct parts sourced from established suppliers
- Original dials and hands conserved, not refinished by default
- Photographic documentation at each stage
- Written condition dossier accompanies returned piece

Shared Standards
What Every Service Has in Common
Written Scope Before Work Begins
No service proceeds without a written description of what is proposed, why, and at what cost. Changes to scope are discussed and agreed before they happen.
Original Parts Returned to Owner
Where components are replaced, the original worn parts are retained and returned with the watch unless the owner specifies otherwise.
Discreet Handling
Details of your watch and the work carried out are treated with full discretion. We do not discuss client pieces or display them publicly without permission.
Progress Communication
You will hear from us when the assessment is complete, if anything unexpected arises, and when the watch is ready. You should not need to follow up for a status update.
Horological-Grade Materials Only
Oils, cleaning solutions, and replacement components are sourced from established horological suppliers. Consumer-grade substitutes are not used in this workshop.
No Obligation Assessment
An initial assessment does not obligate you to proceed. If you choose not to proceed after receiving the condition report, the watch is returned as received at no charge.
