Your Timepiece,
Attended With Care
Pusaka Horology offers considered repair and restoration for mechanical watches — from calibre servicing to the stewardship of collector references, each piece handled with the attention it deserves.
What We Offer
Three Pathways of Restoration
Each service is tailored to the character of your watch — whether a daily wearer, an heirloom, or a piece of collector significance.
Movement Service & Timing Restoration
A considered overhaul for mechanical and automatic calibres. Disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection under magnification, relubrication with horological-grade oils, and regulation across multiple positions followed by a multi-day timing test.
- Suitable after extended storage or observed accuracy decline
- Written condition report provided on return
- Typically completed within four to six weeks
Case & Bracelet Refinishing
A measured approach to restoring the external character of a watch while respecting its original design intent. Hand-finishing of brushed and polished surfaces, scratch removal, and reassembly with attention to gasket condition.
- Vintage patina conservation available on request
- Mixed finish sports models treated separately per zone
- Includes basic water resistance check
Vintage & Collector Piece Stewardship
A specialised pathway for older references, discontinued calibres, and pieces of significant collector interest. Originality is prioritised — period-correct parts sourced, original dials conserved, each step documented with photographs and written notes.
- Detailed condition dossier accompanies return
- Consultation before work commences
- Timeline varies: typically two to six months
Why Pusaka Horology
A Workshop Built on Patience
The qualities that matter most to watch owners — transparency, respect for originality, and careful handling — are the foundations of how we work.
Hands-On Assessment
Every piece is examined in person before any work is proposed. A written condition summary is shared before you commit to any service.
Originality Respected
Where possible, original parts are retained. We do not refinish dials or hands without your specific direction — particularly on vintage and collector references.
Documented Work
Collector-level services include photographic records and written documentation of findings, parts sourced, and adjustments made.
Realistic Timelines
We give you accurate estimates at the outset and keep you informed of progress. We do not rush work to meet an arbitrary schedule.
Horological-Grade Materials
Movement lubrication uses oils specified for each calibre type. Replacement parts are sourced from established horological suppliers.
Straightforward Communication
You will hear from us at each meaningful stage of the work — assessment findings, parts requirements, and completion — without needing to follow up.

Is Your Watch Overdue for Attention?
Whether it has been sitting unworn for years or is simply due its recommended service interval, we are happy to take a look and discuss what would be appropriate. There is no obligation in making an enquiry.
Common Questions
What Owners Ask
How do I know if my watch needs a service?
Common indicators include noticeable loss of accuracy, a reduced power reserve, difficulty in winding, or if the watch has not been serviced in five to eight years. Some owners simply prefer to service on a regular schedule regardless of symptoms. We are happy to assess the watch and advise whether service is warranted.
Will my watch's original parts be retained?
Our default position is to retain original components wherever they remain serviceable. Parts are replaced only when worn beyond acceptable tolerance or when they pose a risk to the movement's function. We discuss any proposed replacements with you before proceeding, and worn parts are returned to you if you wish.
How long does a movement service typically take?
For standard movement servicing, we generally complete work within four to six weeks from the time we receive the piece. Collector and vintage pieces with sourcing requirements may take considerably longer — we will give you a considered estimate at the consultation stage.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
A clear description of the watch — brand, reference if known, and the concern or service being requested — is a good starting point. For vintage or collector pieces, any documentation, box, or papers you have will help us understand its history. In most cases we prefer to see the piece in person before confirming a scope and price.
Do you work on all watch brands?
We work on a wide range of Swiss and Japanese mechanical calibres. If you are uncertain whether we service your particular brand or reference, please contact us — we will be straightforward about what falls within our scope and whether we are the right workshop for your piece.
What is your pricing structure?
Movement servicing begins at MYR 950, case refinishing from MYR 1,450, and vintage stewardship from MYR 2,180. Final pricing depends on the complexity of the calibre, the condition of the movement, and any parts required. We provide a written quote before any work commences.
